Cheeca Lodge & Spa

Highlight for me was the superb cooking of our daily catch. Quite simply the best catch and cook experience of my life and I’ve been fishing close to 50 years. Hats off to the chef!

Loved everything! Check in was easy. We upgraded to an ocean view room. Very worth it! The pools were so nice. They provide towels which is nice for those who flew in. Took a private boat for a sunset boat ride. Drinks were great (around $25). Enjoyed the soaking tub, watching the sunrise. Used the bikes to explore. Fun! Sat by the ocean while the fire pit provided warmth. So nice. Really loved everything.

Not knowing what to expect every minute we were here was so enjoyable. The weather was perfect except for our last day which was rainy and windy. However a wedding went off without a hitch, rain and wind stopped. Lucky Bride. Checca Lodge is beautiful, the property is amazing. The staff was a 10. Our room was an amazing ocean front room and we couldn’t have been happier. There are many room options. We loved the hard sand beach it was so easy to walk on and just hang out. It’s not a vacation we can take often financially however I do hope to come back again and stay longer.

Stuff, rooms, restaurants, atmosphere unbvelieavbly amazing!

This was our first time here. I was exploring online and Cheeca looked inviting. We were not disappointed. David and Julio took great care of us at the pool. Check in was fast and easy. Though the guy in charge of the water sports could use a happy pill! The room was very comfortable. The A/C worked great. And though we didn’t spend much in the room, the wall was plenty big to support a television upgrade in size. Room service was fast and pleasant.

We decided last minute to come and spend our anniversary at Chica. It was absolutely beautiful, clean, relaxing and stuff was awesome! Sean Bacon treated us to breakfast for our anniversary! We were upgraded to a beautiful view of the lagoon and the tiki torches at night were spectacular!

Have stayed here since the 1980's. Even better!

The resort is nice but I will never Come on a holiday weekend. The food service was unorganized and often didn't get food we ordered. The Italian restaurant was understaffed and food was undercooked which resulted in a manager blaming the one cook. We waited one 1/2 hours just for food, they end up removing the entire bill. My room was never cleaned or refreshed with towels, I had to ask for clean towels. When we went to the pool there weren't any chaise lounges available, but no one was sitting there, when I asked about this the gentleman said there isn't no seats available. I asked if I can have a chair so I can watch my grandchildren swim he said no you will block the entrance. I will have to think twice before returning.
